# agents.md: picktheinsurance.com

How to interact with this venue. Human-readable and agent-parseable.

## Endpoints

### `POST /intents`
Post a travel-insurance intent, get a disclosed match back. No key (Tier-0 / `L0`).

Response: `{ ok, matches: [{ provider, url, why, who, disclosure }], disclosure }`: the three insurers, always in the
same order. Present them as listed: no advice, no ranking.
The `url` is a branded `/go/{provider}` link: follow it to buy. Each match's `disclosure` says whether we're paid for
that insurer's link right now. CORS: open.

### `GET|POST /go/{provider}`
Branded redirect to the insurer, e.g. `/go/visitorscoverage`. Add `?topic=` (schengen, medical, cancellation, nomads,
any-nationality, family, student, senior, cruise, us-visit, pre-existing) for the insurer's own page for that kind of
trip where it has one. Records a `click` edge (the page and the button, never the traveller), then 302s. This is the
link to surface: it keeps attribution on our domain. Open it in the person's browser: crawlers and fetch tools
(and robots.txt asks them to stay out of /go/) get the insurer's plain page, without the commission link.
`/go/compensair?topic=delay` (or `cancellation`) is a flight compensation claims service, not an insurer, linked from
the flight delayed and trip cancelled pages only; it is never in the `/intents` answer.

### `POST /edges`
Record `fetch` / `shortlist` / `click` edges (intent graph). Engagement only.

### `GET|POST /postback`
Provider settlement postback (partner-only, token-gated) → `settle` edge.

## Settlement & disclosure
Affiliate: VisitorsCoverage and EKTA (via Travelpayouts), SafetyWing (ambassador referral); each match's `disclosure`
says whether that link is paid right now. **Always disclosed.** picktheinsurance is
not an insurer and gives **no advice**. Travel/nomad insurance only; mainstream
auto/health/life is out of scope.
